Louisiana Covering Kids & Families (CKF) is a project funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (www.rwjf.org) to increase the number of children and adults who benefit from federal and state health care coverage programs. CKF coalitions work with health professionals, educators, faith-based organizations, the business community, social service agencies, philanthropies, and policy makers to reach families and inform then about the no cost health care coverage available in Louisiana . See additional website links for more information about CKF, our coalitions and how you can join the effort to ensure all eligible people get this vital coverage. In Louisiana our programs provide coverage for children through the Louisiana Children’s Health Insurance Program, commonly known as LaCHIP, and for pregnant women through LaMOMS.
